In the thousands of books that Seattle book lovers donate to the Friends of the Seattle Public Library each year, we occasionally find fascinating remnants tucked in the pages. Old photos, birthday cards, and other scraps that someone used as a bookmark.
With Valentine’s Day coming up, we looked through our treasure chest for items left in books that feature people and pets who clearly love each other (plus a few handmade hearts…)
The books that are so generously donated are typically sold at the Friends’ book sales. Reminder: the HUGE Annual Book Sale is coming up on March 15 – 17!
