Today is the day! 150 teachers from Title I schools are currently browsing thousands of children’s and YA books for their classrooms with $100 vouchers from the Friends.
We’ve been honored to receive grants from the Renee B. Fisher Foundation to provide classroom books in high-need Seattle public schools. The ‘Books for Teachers’ program has given over 300 teachers from 31 schools nearly 21,000 books!
